Special Notes:

A very wet day saw the mists descend on the Gloucester hills obscuring much of the back 9. After some outstanding starts from Adrian and Ian the rain took its toll and many challenges faded into the mists. Nick took full advantage and knocked in 3 birdies on his way to the money. The big controversy was Browner taking a well deserved nearest the pin then mentioning he hadn’t marked his ball but made it up with tea and cake.

Special Notes:

Robbie dominating the nearest the pin competition and a missing ball stolen by some local dogs leading to the biggest controversy of 2016. The winner on 36 its benefitting from some friendly law applications by the wider group taking the money from Adrian and Richie who ended up with a good 35 points.

Richie destroying the field with some exceptional play around Cheltenhams longest rough. Thankfully he had the decency to blob the last so it wasn’t too embarrassing for him and as the photo proves he wasn’t that smug about it all.

Nick trying to intimidate the competition by precisely landing a ball between them whilst they tee off on the 14th. Then getting one right on the 18th to leave a cheeky little chip to set up the birdie chance
